1In the app
Open Iter, go to Settings, and choose Delete account. Confirm, and it is done. This is the fastest route and needs nothing from us.
2By request
If you no longer have the app, or cannot sign in, write to privacy@itertravelapp.net from the email address on the account, with the subject line “Delete my Iter account”. We will confirm the request belongs to you and delete the account. You will get one reply when it is done, and nothing after that.
3What is erased, and when
Your account, Taste Profile, chats, trips and wishlists are erased within 7 days, and from backups within 30 days. Deletion cannot be undone; if you come back to Iter later, you start from scratch.
4If you want a copy first
Before deleting, you can export your data as a file from Settings. Deletion does not produce an export, so do this first if you want one.
5Less than deleting
If what you want is a fresh start rather than a closed account, you can reset your Taste Profile in Settings and keep everything else. The full picture of what Iter holds and why is in the Privacy Policy.
